Philip M. Flanigan

Philip M. Flanigan is a respected estate planning, elder law and asset protection attorney based Fresno, California. He has practiced law for 29 years and has extensive experience working with individuals and families. For 11 years, Phil practiced with a large law firm.

In 1997, he founded the Law Offices of Philip M. Flanigan so he could personally provide individuals and families with the highest level of competent legal representation and service.

 

Practice Areas:

Phil devotes his practice exclusively to counseling and representing clients in all matters relating to Estate Planning, (Wills, Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney), Elder Law, Special Needs Planning, Medi-Cal Planning to pay for nursing home costs, protecting assets from Medi- Cal recovery claims, as well as probate and estate administration.

 

Education:

In 1983, Phil graduated from Cal State University – Fresno, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration- Business Economics. In 1986, he graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu where he earned his Juris Doctor Degree. Court Admissions & Bar Memberships: Phil is admitted to practice law in all California state courts, the U.S. District Courts for Eastern, Northern, Southern and Central Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Phil is a member of the State Bar of California and its section on Trusts and Estates, and the Fresno County Bar Association.

Born and raised in the Central Valley, Phil attended Fresno State where he pitched Baseball. It was at Fresno State that he also met the love of his life, Donna (Badasci) Flanigan. Phil and his wife, Donna, have been married for 34 years and have raised two adult children, Katie and John.
